Caleb Sponheim is a graduate student.

What is his research?

He is trying to understand how the brain learns, plans and executes movements. He leverages those findings to improve the experience of using brain-machine interfaces, which help restore function to people who have disabilities. 

What is he studying?

Computational Neuroscience.

What did he do before?

He majored in Psychology and concentrated in Neuroscience at Grinnell College. He has spent time at the University of Minnesota, Veterans Affairs, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and the National Institutes of Health.
